Sharing is caring, and we care!

We believe it’s time to reinject love in the food industry. Our chefs take care of you with every dish they prepare; not only do they share their best recipes with us, they share their story, a part of their culture and a piece of their soul.

Our goal is to create an inclusive and sustainable micro-economy while preserving our natural resources.
One step at a time.

Step 1

Give Opportunities

Our first goal is to give economic and entrepreneurial opportunities to talented cooks in your community, from all cultural and social backgrounds. Their profiles are as diverse as their food offerings; from experienced chefs who lost their job during the pandemic to first-time entrepreneurs changing careers, students, stay-at-home moms, retirees, refugees... We want to include and empower every cooking genius! In collaboration with Solidariedade Imigrante, the association for the defense of immigrants’ rights in Lisbon, we accompany fantastic cooks into first-time entrepreneurship, most of which are women.

Step 2

Fight food waste

2000kgs of food goes to waste every day only in Portugal, while some families still struggle to make ends meet and do not have access to nutritious and quality food. That’s something we need to change urgently and collectively. That’s why we’ve partnered up with the association ReFood, one of the main actor against food waste in Portugal. With 32 centers around the Greater Lisbon area, ReFood collects food surplus from local donors and redistributes ready-to-eat meals to the most vulnerable families of the community. Your donation at check-out helps our team and our volunteer chefs buy the necessary extra ingredients to prepare delicious homemade meals and deliver them to ReFood centers around town.

Step 3

Preserve the environment

We strive to reduce the environmental impact of food deliveries and be the closest we can to carbon neutral. That’s why we are always looking for eco-friendly and local alternatives in all stages of our supply chain. For now, that means using recyclable paper containers instead of single-use plastics, working towards mutualizing deliveries as much as possible, and partnering with Gowizi, a Portuguese delivery company favoring electric vehicles to deliver your homemade meals.

ReFood in numbers

Beneficiaries of the ReFood project

Tons of bio-waste avoided every month

That’s 3 steps along the way, but believe us, we’re ready to walk far for our beliefs!

Food delivery services have been part of the problem for too long. We want to be the solution. With you.
